Useful Information for away fans

Away supporters are accommodated on one side of the Gil Merrick Stand, situated at the stadium's end in the lower tier. Normally, 3,000 tickets are allocated, but this can increase to about 4,500 for cup games when the entire lower tier is available. The stand is typically shared with home supporters on the opposite side, separated by plastic netting. Few pubs are in close proximity to St Andrew’s, and those that are tend to be unwelcoming to away fans and are generally not advised. An exception is the Cricketers Arms on Green Lane. To locate the pub, face away from the away section and proceed along the road leading away from the stadium (not the road ascending by the stadium, but the one towards Morrisons). Traverse through the Morrisons parking lot towards the store, then follow the adjacent road named Green Lane. The pub is a brief 30-second walk on the left. It welcomes both home and away fans, and although the space is compact, outdoor drinking is facilitated with beer tables.
